"Tech Buddies workshop was GREAT. People brought iPhones, iPads, laptops and lots of questions. It was set up so that one student volunteer sat with each senior and ascertained the level that participant was at. I was a little more advanced than some, but I learned so much. They helped me declutter my iPad, showed me how to delete stray things without unfriending anyone, made sure I had apps set off and on properly, helped me sync up my iPhone and we chatted about future workshops. Tech Buddies can set up classes to focus on things like how to spot a scam and delete that info from your device; WiFi use; branching out on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok; staying in touch with the family through emails, texts, pictures and FaceTime — all that kind of stuff."
